A reasonable choice

My wife and I stayed here one night. I would feel comfortable choosing to stay here again if I am in the vicinity. We found the staff to be friendly and courteous. The room was very clean, and everything except the safe worked exactly as it should. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very good, but not exceptional. Noise was the main concern: it was quite loud in the early evening due to a popular youth hangout across the street and still loud later due to some of the clientele at the hotel’s bar and outdoor diners. However, as it was a Wednesday night, the noise did not continue late into the next day’s morning; I suspect it might be unbearable on a weekend. As the hotel was full (or nearly so), parking was quite tight. We also had dinner at the hotel, and we both found that the dinner was quite good.

Ein schönes Hotel mit tollem Personal. Die Zimmer schön eingerichtet und gepflegt. Kostenfreier Parkplatz im Hof. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt, in der kleinen Innenstadt von Bad Saulgau. Fußgängerzone, Restaurants, Eisdielen, der Marktplatz,... alles ist in wenigen Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Frühstück ist wirklich sehr gut und ausreichend. Eierspeisen werden frisch zubereitet. Das Restaurant (Steakhouse) ist super! Top Qualität, absolut faires Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, es wird mit viel Liebe gekocht. Ich kann das Hotel guten Gewissens absolut weiterempfehlen!!!

Ich hatte im Hotel Ochsen ein schönes, geräumiges und helles Zimmer mit Schreibtisch und einer separaten Sitzecke mit Sofa. Es war fast wie ein 1,5-Zimmer-Studio. Auch das Badezimmer war gut, mit zwei großen Schubladen unter dem Doppelwaschtisch. Im Preis inbegriffen war ein nicht allzu umfangreiches, aber hochwertiges Frühstücksbuffet mit verschiedenen Brötchensorten, Wurst- und Käseaufschnitt, gekochten Eiern, Müsli und immer frischem, sehr leckerem Obstsalat. Am Haus befindet sich ein für Hotelgäste kostenloser Parkplatz. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!

Durchschnittliche Unterkunf. Frühstück P/L top!

+ Zentrale Lage + Freundliches Personal + Top Frühstück für 6€ - Der Hotelparkplatz ist sehr eng - Unbequeme Kopfkissen - Dünne Wände - in die Jahre gekommene Ausstattung Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in Bad Saulgau. Weitere Restaurants und die Altstadt sind in weniger als 5 Gehminuten entfernt. Leider sind die Kopfkissen viel zu prall gefüllt und somit zum Schlafen ungeeignet. Habe eine zweite Bettdecke als Kopfkissen verwendet. Die Ausstattung des Bades ist schon etwas älter. Das ist so erstmal kein Problem, allerdings hätte ich bei mir in der Dusche Ansätze von Schimmel - ein NoGo für mich. Die Wände sind relativ dünn. Man hört die Gäste über sich und auch wenn im Flur Personen sich unterhalten. Hervorzuheben ist das wirklich gute Frühstück. Hier kriegt man für 6€ eine Menge geboten. Frischen Aufschnitt und Obstsalat, Gemüse, joghurt und Müsli aber auch sowas wie Riegel oder Actimel. Alles in allem ist es ein durchschnittliches Hotel, dafür aber mit top Servicepersonal und Frühstück.
80x80 Kissen sind zu prall gefüllt. Unangenehm zum Schlafen.
Teils Staub in den Ecken.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Das Restaurant im Hotel ist genau wie das Frühstück sehr zu empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind 3 Sterne Superior entsprechend, leider ohne Klimaanlage (wurde aber auch nirgends versprochen). Besonders hervorzuheben ist das absolut zuvorkommende und freundliche Personal.

Mein Aufenthalt im Hotel Ochsen war in jeder Hinsicht grossartig. Ein grosses, sauberes, gemütliches Zimmer. Sehr freundliches Personal. Ein grosszügiges Frühstück. Genügend Parkplätze. Ich kann gar nichts Negatives sagen, bestimmt komme ich gerne wieder.

Liegt sehr günstig für Erkundungen in der Altstadt. Auch das Heilbad lässt sich in einee halben Stunde ruhigen Fusswegs gut erreichen.
