A very nice hotel in a beautiful location. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was very good indeed. Our only complaint was that the room was rather small and hot, but we will choose a bigger room next time

Fantastic hotel, probably the best in the resort. Very quiet when we went in early May as this is the 'off' season, in between skiing and Summer. Glad we went half board as dinner was very good and few restaurants in the area were open, Lovely rooftop pool. Would have been nice to have a hot-tub too but I'm being picky. Would return.

An Exceptional Stay in Austria – Truly Unforgettable! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the finest hotels I have ever stayed at in Austria. Everything about this place is simply exceptional, from the breathtaking surroundings and beautiful facilities to the genuinely warm hospitality. Imagine waking up to the soothing sound of a waterfall, surrounded by majestic mountains, before heading down to enjoy a wonderful breakfast spread, elegantly served on crisp, white tablecloths. Such a simple yet luxurious experience. Absolutely splendid! A very special appreciation goes to Jonni, Anton, and the lovely lady at the reception whose name I unfortunately didn't manage to get (blonde haired lady). Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made our stay incredibly personal and memorable. They are truly among the hotel's greatest assets. Beautiful facilities can impress guests, but it is people like them who make guests feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated. Swimming while overlooking the mountains and waterfall was an experience in itself. The scenery was breathtaking, and the atmosphere was incredibly relaxing. Another wonderful bonus was having access to the Urban Nature facilities, which added even more value to the overall experience. Everything about this hotel is top-notch. P/s: Jonni, the iced latte seakan-akan starbucks with oatmilk were very nice! Thank you.

Straubinger has exceeded my expectations - by far!

The renovation of the old Straubinger might possibly the best ever of a k.k. monarchy monument. Brillantly done by keeping old walls, doors and character in general while not making any compromises on the luxury one would expect as a guest in 2023. The state of the art spa and pool area are outstanding. The bar is phantastic. Service is very good. Bad Gastein hasn't had any hotel of that standing since the k.k. monarchy had ended more than 100 years ago. Thank you to the new owners for that architectural masterpiece. I am looking forward to my next visit.

This hotel is very clean and staff were very good, attentive and friendly. The hotel also was very immaculate. Views of the hotel were mesmerizing. Very friendly staff, breakfast was amazing. While the whole hotel staff were very nice and very helpful, i should mention the front office manager Florian for his friendly gestures for the guests and his thoughtfulness. Marina from the restaurant was also very friendly and very helpful and also very energetic. I think both of these staff are assets to this place and for the guests. Love this hotel and we will definitely be back soon.

Such a beautiful hotel in an amazing location! The hotel and rooms itself were stunning and very clean. You should definitely try the restaurant as well, the food was delicious. Everyone working there that we met were so friendly as well and really made our stay. Especially the lovely man working in the hotel bar/cafe on the day of our checkout- and the receptionist who checked us in. Thanks for such a memorable stay!
