「The room was nice, view's are spectacular. However the hotel itself is tired needs updating even just a lick of pain, new flooring etc would work. Beautiful walks and grounds. Staff were lovely and friendly. Food was ok nothing special but not expensive. The pictures in the website wasn't a true representation of the hotel as I said needs a good update and clean. The bath in our room needs replacing asap I'd say. However everything else was good」

「The bathroom was clean, and the bed sheets were clean, with a lovely smell even in the morning. Heating was on all night, so it wasn't cold in the morning, and after skiing at Glenshee, that warmth was lovely. The fireplace downstairs was so good, and we had a nice chat and watched TV. 「This was a great and affordable cabin and it was in an awesome, quiet area just south of the caringorms national Park. The owner is a real gentleman and the tavern he runs has amazing steak pies. Would stay again 」
