「Lovely decor, had a mix of modern and rustic which was lovely and some of the stone wall original features. It had everything you need, was warm and comfy. Beds were comfy and the shower was really good too. Lovely touch leaving little gift for the dogs, and the communication with the host was very good. We would rebook if we return to the area!」

「Too small for a 4p family….」

「Excellent environment, helpful staff and really enjoyable」

「Quaysiders resort is an apartment/hotel right by the upper side of Lake Windermere in Ambleside. It is in an absolutely perfect location close to the lake, shops, restaurants. 「Was a nice and easy check in, very nice place and spacious enough, had everything we’d need.. only problem was the lack of cleanliness. Cob webs everywhere, dust and debris on the chairs and in creases of the bedroom suede walls, spiders in corners and cutlery provided has old food hardened within the cuts of the forks as it hasn’t been cleaned properly and left. Toilet also splashes water all over the seat when flushing causing the lid to be splattered with toilet water after every flush.」

「The property exceeded my expectation. It's really cozy and I absolutely enjoyed the bowl of goodies. Could do with more utensils, but overall, I'd highly recommend.」

「Clean room, comfy bed and a good shower. Hallways could have done with a quick vac. Missed second day breakfast but still enough left.」
