"This B&B was exceptional. The attention to detail was out of this world.
It felt almost like staying in a top class hotel.
Everything was laid on and Helen was superb in anticipating everthing I needed.
And the breakfast - well - no words to describe how great it was.
Again the attention to the smallest detail was fantastic.
Will certainly stay here again if I'm in the area.
Well Done!"

"Fantastic cosy room. Lovely shower , comfy bed. The check in is via phone and a key safe .
The room was well stocked and very clean. Main problem is the doors to rooms don’t have quiet closing so when the ignorant other guests go in and out there is constant slamming of doors.
We stayed in the room with exposed beams and it was very well thought out . Good for walking holiday due to location."

"We stayed a night before a theme park visit the following morning - the hotel was easy to find, great parking and very clean.
The only couple of things I would note -
1 - weirdly the outside of the lodge was really over grown and full of weeds! They have such an opportunity (and budget I imagine!) to properly landscape each outside space but unfortunately it looked really scruffy and not welcoming at all (loads of thistles too which would have been tricky if the kids had fallen into them)
2 - a distinct lack of mirrors! In the room there was one mirror in the bathroom but none in the main area so when using the hotel hairdryer I couldn't actually plug it in and it be long enough to see what I was doing. Another mirror in the main bedroom would have been helpful.
Overall though the hotel was lovely, the kids loved the interactivity of getting the code to open the 'safe' and receiving a lego kit, too! The breakfast was adequate - we didn't book in advance enough for a table at a good time but we weren't in a rush to get in the park quite so early so that wasn't a problem for us. I assume on really busy days it would be recommended to book that early!"
"From the photos of the rooms I had seen, I was prepared for a rather boring, average room, so I was very pleasantly surprised when the room turned out to be very stylish and charming. The fabrics were of lovely and of good quality and there were antiques as well as modern touches. The bathroom was spacious and had really nice granite and large porcelain tile. There was a jacuzzi tub which we enjoyed a soak in. We had dinner in the restaurant. It has a fairly simple looking menu, but the mushroom risotto we had was really quite good. Our cocktails were a bit pricey for what they were, I would expect more of a craft cocktail at the price, but they were fine. Our room on the second floor required navigating several twists and sets of stairs of stairs to get to with no lift, but our bags were carried up and down for us so no problem there. The location by the river was quite convenient and away from the crowds and tourist bustle in front of the castle."
"Spacious clean room with a good view to countryside. Similarly the 14th floor bar/restaurant had great views all round and a good selection of drinks. Breakfast buffet excellent albeit busy as I think they were fairly full occupancy . Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend."
