「Four years ago, we stayed at the Hotel Les Grands Montets as part of our Tour du Mont Blanc ten-day trek. We had two nights there as we prepared for our last two legs of hiking on our trek. Unfortunately, poor weather did not permit us to take the preferred route to the Lac Blanc -- wind and precipitation made that leg too dangerous. We did an alternate route. 「Every detail of this hotel from the herringbone cloth slippers to the Santa Maria Novella products in the bathroom have been thoughtfully considered in a way some 5 stars miss. All this and an amazing team at Reception and the Restaurant. 」

「The hot tub and terrace were gorgeous. Apartment was spacious and clean. Just a side note, the upper floor is designed for kids/juniors and it may be difficult to be used by tall adults. Great location just next to the Aiguille du Midi cable car. There is also an washer/drier but it is in the basement of the next building, you have to ask for it.」

「Great location. Close to downtown commercial area; everything within 10 minutes walk. The room was clean. Staff were very friendly as well. 」

「This is a beautiful hotel with excellent staff. Amazing breakfast and dinner were included with our stay. Convenient to main shopping and dining street and bus station. Only issue was lack of AC or even ceiling fans (they did provide a Dyson airblade which sort of helped) for climate control. The balcony slider provided some relief from the heat, but not enough for anyone sleeping in interior room of family suite.」
