When my son fell ill, they were extremely understanding and gracious, allowing us a late check out, being solicitous with cold drinks, and looking after our bags so we could explore a bit while we waited for a later train. They made what could have been an awful situation so very much better. 「Perfect budget hotel for an overnight stay. Other reviews were critical but let’s be honest, it’s not a 5 star hotel but it is perfectly clean and decent buffet breakfast. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. Easy parking and a 20/25 minute walk to the cathedral and old town where all the bars and restaurants are situated along the canal. 」
