「On our return to the hotel this time we were greeted with a warm welcome from Wellington the night receptionist who depite our late arrival was very helpful. Stewart the Manager and the whole team went out of their way to make us feel at home with every need taken care of. We will look forward to our next visit.」

Having the bar & the restaurant on the top floor is a bit odd, but it is comfortable. The food in the restaurant was very poor as was the quality of the wine. The gentleman acting as Maitre was brusque, untidy and unwelcoming. We booked our table for 7 and were prompt. But he wanted us to have courses in rapid succession. 「Fantastic communication from the outset. Easily found and right next door to The Mayflower public house so after a long journey there’s no further travelling to do to get an evening meal. Plenty of parking, very easy check in and an exceptional selection of produce supplied for breakfast next morning. Good heating system, great bed, powerful shower, all in all with all of the other attentions to detail a great stay, very highly recommended.」

「Location is the main selling point. Although it’s near night life but still hard to beat. Very central. Feels dated though. Had a loose toilet seat in my bathroom and the bath was slightly discoloured? Air con was good. Light connected to the bed was a weird shade. Bed was comfy. Would use again for the convenience.」
