"Overall the hotel and the staff were great. Food and drink options were also great. The location and proximity to things to do in Cairns were fantastic. We rented a car to get around. But we only got it so that we can drive out to Port Douglas, and maybe just around town. But you definitely don't need one. If you do rent A car know that the parking right outside of the hotel is free. No need to pay for additional parking. If I had to have one critique, it would be that the pictures on the website are misleading from the height of the Tower hotel rooms. It could be that it was during a certain time of year but the perceived ocean views were more like mud views with ocean behind the mud. I would definitely stay here again no ifs, andsc or buts about it."
