「Unfortunately, the room temperature was hot beyond any reasonable level. Being British and living in an old home here in the UK I understand how hot upper level rooms can get in the extreme heat and was expecting the temperature to be excessive. The actual temperature was beyond extreme and the fan provided did not oscillate and was extremely noisy. 「I stayed in the Kingsbridge House area of the estate. The room although in a traditional house has everything a traditional hotel room would have from the key for the outside door, and room card key. All facilities top quality - only issue was the shower plug was blocked and flooded the walk in shower area. I reported this and they were keen to rectify.」

「The rooms aren't actually in/ above the pub, there is a separate building out the back with the rooms. The building isn't anywhere near as attractive at the pub! I was a little disappointed as it was a birthday present to go to The Henry Moore Foundation, dinner and stay over. The rooms are nice, we had a king room and the bed was huge and comfy- no complaints about the rooms themselves, other than they were very hot. I would stay again if in the area, but not as a special occasion.」
