"Chain hotel. Relatively new. Room perfectly adequate size for this level of hotel. Only one person at Reception, but it was a Sunday. We did not have to wait but saw a queue later. Our room only had towels for one (we were a couple) which was a bit irritating. Car park is a public car park with an entry into the hotel. It is, as others have said, crazily expensive - €30 + per night. Finding the hotel was tricky as satnav told me I had arrived at the car park, which shares the address. One side of the hotel has scaffolding and curtain, which makes it difficult to spot. The thing that really surprised us was the restaurant. We had low expectations and the limited menu reduced them further. But we had driven from England and were too tired to go out looking for a restaurant. At first we were the only clients and then another couple arrived. I order the smashed burger and my wife ordered beef cheeks. Both dishes were excellent. Well cooked, tasty and well-presented. The server was very friendly as well. Quite amazing, in a good way!"

"Beautiful hotel at amazing location with a very good breakfast buffet and restaurant. But the rooms towards the market place are very noisy. With or without open windows you are definitely going to wake up very early as every tourist walking by with their rolling suitcase on cobblestones makes a huge noise. Churchbells start ringing around 7 am……I would stay here again but not on this side of the hotel."

"Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Asked for an assessable room as I use a mobility scooter. The room was ideal but we didn’t have a balcony or patio which we had booked which was disappointing. Used the pool which was quite cold and was very deep, no shallow end. We had breakfast included in our package which was continental and not to my liking but that is a personal opinion. We had 2 snack meals in the garden which were ok. The restaurant was quite expensive and the choice was limited. Overall we enjoyed our stay."
