「This is a very rundown old motel that's VERY dated. There was no kitchen service, no food, TVs weren't working, and the pool was freezing. Luckily for me, I only required a one night stay on a motorcycle trip. I won't be going back!」

「Room was clean. Staff were nice and responsive. But building is old and kind of run down. Our TV kept shutting itself off and rebooting, the fridge in the room did not work, and things were just generally run down. But overall we enjoyed our stay.」

「Nice sized rooms and we enjoyed coming in after our night out and finding a popcorn machine that provided a great evening snack. The other rooms do seem to be occupied by people living there with food, clothes and possibly garbage sitting outside some rooms. We didn’t expect that but I guess it is an extended stay hotel. Room was fairly clean and simple so if you’re expecting frills don’t stay here.」

「Loved this place! We stayed in a king bed cabin and it was a great room. They didn’t have anything super exciting for breakfast, looked like just cereals, pastries and bagels. Salida is a very small town and everything closes extremely early. If that’s okay with you, or if you have to stay in Salida for something, this is a good option. 「Unique structure and history of the property makes for a memorable stay. No elevator and steep stairs makes it difficult for seniors, with no concierge. Parking is street, self only, making for a scramble to find parking after 5. Staff very pleasant.」
