"This is a great wee hotel! Lovely clean, spacious rooms, friendly helpful staff and delicious freshly cooked breakfast. "

"A fabulous hotel that goes the extra mile to make guests feel valued and comfortable. Extremely doggy friendly, with separate zones for guests unaccompanied by their 4 legged companions. Direct access to the beach, Ayshire Coastland Path further enhance the experience. I would definitely highly recommend The Waterside Hotel. Thank you"

"We just had one night here before catching the early ferry to Isle of Arran and it was perfect. Good location with allocated parking spot. Easy check in with clear instructions upfront. Well equipped room, nicely decorated and a comfortable bed. We had room 6 at the back, which was very quiet. Also convenient for eating out in town. Would recommend."

"We stayed in Kilmarnock for a family occasion but we would return to the hotel as a base for visiting the area which has some beautiful spots and lots of history. Friendly hotel, nice room, restaurant was excellent and overall good experience. Thank you."

"Great hotel. Centrally located in the town close to amenities and ferry port."

"We found everything at the resort to be excellent. We did not have time to take advantage of the pools and exercise equipment, nor some of the other facilities available. The restaurant buffet breakfasts were superb. However, we did not like the burgers, which were required by law to be well done."
