「Unacceptable the whole premises needs an up grade and is stuck in the past I' was born and bred in Tokoroa and have been away for 20+ years, only came back for a tangi was so disappointing to see the Mayfair motel so run down, it used to be a beautiful motel back in the days what's happened ??? 「 Very upset to find out there is no proper wash basin in the bathroom with no mirror available. Tiny hand basin to wash face. This is disappointing not to have basic requirements on a motel room. Long delay in getting hot water. 」

「Room was very nice and warm. Lovely bed & pillows. Very quiet too. We were seriously disappointed with the television setup and also having no access to any Sky channels. I have travelled extensively internationally & throughout New Zealand - this is the first hotel I have stayed at where there is no standard access to local channels. Most of the Samsung channels provided are meaningless and not worth viewing - I find such a setup to be convoluted & not customer friendly.」

「Arrival & Atmosphere We arrived around 3 PM and check-in was smooth - there was one staff member at the front desk who was expecting us. However, the resort felt unusually quiet, almost empty.
