The pool area is beautiful. I enjoy the open space. The locks on some of the showers and toilets don't work but no biggie.
Overall, this is a good hostel. The pool and view are great! Though I found the music from the bar too loud, it was hard to relax at the pool. But this is a good hostel if you are looking for a party. There are many mosquitos around so bring mosquito spray

Yes, Stay
I would recommend Yes, Please Hostel as a solo traveler. I had a private room with shared bathrooms. The bed was comfortable and the shower/ bath was kept clean though out the day. Although this is a young backpacker Hostel it was only loud for a bit at night as the kids gathered up to go out, the it quite as could be.
This is a very well run hostal with a great garden and pool outback. The shared bathroom and shower facilities were generally very good. We stayed in one of the glamping tents which were big and comfortable. Two points to improve on: 1) the lights in the front garden were kept on all night which meant inside the tent it felt like dawn all night. 2) It got a bit chilly in the night so would have appreciated a thicker or extra blanket.
The swimming pool is awesome and the staff keep it clean. The on-site bar serves delicious food. The rooms are clean, quiet, and some have privacy curtains on the bunks. But there was a dangerously broken chair in the dining room that staff kept putting back into use after I pointed it out four times!!!
My girlfriend and I were Yes Please Hostel’s first guess and we had the privilege to stay in their only Private room for four nights. Our stay was just as special as the hostel’s first days in business. We were lucky enough to share the opening ceremony with the partners and other guests and would definitely visit again. If you’re looking for a local experience, we highly recommend Yes Please Hostel.
I like the pool, the green space and the overall layout of the hostel.
I found the room was a little tight for a shared space. Maybe less persons should be in the room.

I liked the private tent option but wish they had their own padlocks. wifi was so-so and that was tough for my meetings. Great place for backpackers, not the best for working oprofessionals.
This is a combo hotel/hostel that opened October, 2022. As you would expect it is primarily occupied by 20-somethings travelling the world. This may create an image that it is or is not what you are looking for. What I can say is that I found the accomodations spare, but clean and comfortable. Bathrooms, sinks, showers, and kitchen are shared. Wi-Fi was a bit spotty, but passable. Behind the building is a nicely landscaped lawn, a well-maintained pool, and a small bar. The staff was terrific. They responded quickly and well to questions and requests. I needed transportation to another city, but was unable to find one as time was running out. Kary at the front desk took over and an hour later I had a reservation and no more worries. This 70 year old traveller gives Yes Please a hearty thumbs up.
Overall Yes Please! was good value.
Pros:
- employees were patient, welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful. They will store your bag for you at reception.
-the facilities were clean and I often saw cleaners spraying, disinfecting, and restocking the washrooms and showers.
- there are nice spaces outdoors, and the pool was lovely on a warm day. There was lots of seating available outdoors and limited seating indoors
- the private room had clean bedding, a big window, and a comfortable bed and pillows. There was room in the closet (but no hangers) to store your belongings
- location was on a quieter street but still very accessible and convenient
- kitchen was available for use and was usually quite clean.
Cons:
- noise travels within the hostel very easily and the open indoor sitting room, backyard seating, and front yard seating meant that it was often loud. There was no apparent reinforcement of ‘quiet time’ hours but thankfully most people adhered to the posted times. If you are a light sleeper, this may cause issues for you.
-no lockers in rooms for personal security

Preis Leistung stimmt
Der Check-in war schwierig. Es war niemand an der Rezeption und ich musste lange warten. Mir wurde mein Bett gezeigt, das war's. Wo die Toiletten/duschen oder Aufenthaltsräume sind wurde nicht erklärt. In meinem Bett krabbelten Tiere.
