Unique and friendly inn

Cute little inn with delicious breakfast and dinner. Everything I ate was amazing. Staff is really friendly. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. Services were sometimes a bit limited however. On a couple slower days there was no dining available or no breakfast. Wouldn’t be a problem except there aren’t many options nearby either. I didn’t have a car so I would have to take the bus into Salzburg if I wanted to eat dinner. Just plan ahead and confirm dining schedule with the staff so you can make alternate arrangements for meals if necessary.

We liked that even though it was outside of Salzburg, you could still get there pretty quick. They also gave us some information on what to do in Salzburg. We enjoyed our room and the facilities were pretty good.

Nice find close to Eagle's Nest

This hotel is 700 years old of charm yet updated, but because of the historic value cannot have an elevator, but the stairs are fairly easy. The owner is very nice. There was a wedding the evening we stayed so the restaurant wasn't open. Once we closed the windows to turn in for the evening, we no longer heard the music. Nice quiet area. The breakfast was very good, If you have a Tesla, there's a tesla station right there.

Selve opholdet og servicen i informationen var super - mega sød receptionist der tog imod os -gav gode råd om tur til Salzburg. morgenmaden var super fin - fint udvalg. Vi spiste på hotellet en aften, maden var ok - men servicen tilsvarende dårlig - hende der skulle betjene os rendt rundt - alt for mange gæster til mængden af personale. Chefen kom ned og skulle hjælpe- men når han kom med en tallerken med mad, stod han og kiggede rundt - hende der var på arbejde kom og rev den ud af hånden på ham og gik hen med maden til dem der skulle have den. Gav en noget trykket stemning- drikkevarerne kom hun og spurgte om 2 gange - de kom efter vi selv gik i baren og spurgte til dem, og vi var halvt færdig med maden. Da vi skulle betale smiler min svigersøn til mig og siger måske du skal tjekke regningen - servitricen kigger på mig banker i bordet og siger 3 gange schnitzel og nævner de resterende ting vi havde fået 😳 jeg siger ikke noget med betaler bare. Næste aften fik vi i baren for at få en drink, og det var en helt anden oplevelse - 2 herrer der hyggede med gæsterne- spurgte pænt om vi skulle have mere at drikke.

De kamer was niet heel schoon. Alles is wel vrij gedateerd. Trappenhal was ook echt smoetzig. Vreemd dat er op een zaterdag avond geen mogelijkheid is om te dineren. Ontbijt was overigens wel ontzettend goed en zeer vriendelijk personeel!

Vi kom en søndag, og da var restauranten stengt kl. 19.30. De skal ha destination charger for Tesla, men kun ett uttak og det var opptatt. Det ligger heldigvis en Tesla supercharger rett ved siden av, og vi fikk ladet der. Sengen var for hard for meg
