"Hotel is under renovation. Rooms were done already and are very nice. Staff was very helpful. We had the same guy, Michael Jackson, checking in and out. He moved us to a ground floor accessible room at our request. Would stay again."

"When we drove up I wasn't so sure that we had made the best decision on staying here. We were put on the back part of the property in a part that was not attached to the main building. I was worried about safety. There were no issues though. The room was clean and very comfortable, The breakfast was in a separate building. This area was immaculate. We had lots of choices. The food was delicious. I am glad we stayed here."

"Everything about this specific location and property exceeded all our expectations! From the staff to the cleanliness. Close to a bunch of really good restaurants and near a lot of great places in walking distance. Definitely recommend for a quaint getaway. "This motel is one of my favorites. It’s clean, updated, good amenities, quiet, and helpful friendly staff. I’ve stayed here several times over the years and it just keeps getting better. The breakfast is pretty good and better than some other motel breakfasts I’ve had. Parking is good too."

"My wife and I loved our visit to the Gunn House Hotel. We met Harry who is wonderful and very helpful. And he's quite a good chef for morning breakfast. The room was clean and the air conditioner worked great. We sat outside our room in the evening with our tablets and watched all the cars go by on Washington St. I give an A+ to the staff and Harry for their great hosting. We will be back. Take care for now, Kevin & Debbie."
