「Family that runs it is fantastic! Rooms are clean and comfortable with a view worth it alone! Quiet and the landscaping is beautiful! The restaurant is a must, I run a beef ranch and the ribeye was definitely one of the top 3 I’ve ever eaten! Will recommend and will be staying here again!」

「This property is gorgeous! I arrived late at night so wandering the grounds the next morning felt like opening a present. I especially liked the outdoor shower and the dining area. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was delicious! Highly recommend. 」

「Staff was very helpful. They overbooked our room at Park View so gave us an Uber ride to their sister hotel Tucan a few blocks away. Very nice people. Room was quieter at the Tucan. Great breakfast to go. Wonderful coffee!!」

「Hotel owners, both husband and wife and their staff were really helpful and friendly. Property is really well maintained with diverse flowering plants and villa room we stayed in is very spacious and clean. Even though it is still the wet season, temperature was really pleasant and A/C wasn’t needed to sleep well. Very peaceful environment and walking distance to town square. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to getaway and relax.」

「The Hotel del Rio was absolutely amazing. The staff was super helpful in all regards from event planning to dining to recommendations on sights to see etc. The rooms were very clean and modern. Every morning they asked about whether we wanted service or not. The on site amenities were very diverse from sports to spas. Even our kids did not get bored. Lots of trails for walking. The rooms were very private as well, I am not sure I saw or heard another guest except for at the restaurant. ...

「Amazing! It's gorgeous all around property, with very friendly and helpful staff. We arrived from La Fortuna late afternoon on spare tire and they right away offer to take care of that for us! They took tire to shop and got in fixed and replaced by the time we were ready to go to dinner! Saved our day! Breakfast was excellent and ambient so beautiful. So many amenities and activities to enjoy on site, for both relaxing and active time.」
