Building is run down-significantly. Side building door will not shut tight and is facing dark parking lot, so open for possible unwelcome entry. Rooms were “clean” but window seats and bedding as well as chairs stained.

Cleanliness: Room was filthy. There was trash and debris in the corners of the room from previous occupant. There were feces on the inside of the toilet bowl from previous occupant. There was something sticky on the table my paperwork was getting stuck in. I informed the front desk and nothing was addressed for the next 2 days of my stay. I kept my shoes on because I did not trust the floor was clean. Bed seemed clean. Shower seemed clean. Shower Drain: drain was slow so the water was over my ankles while showering with debris from the drain floating around while I showered. Disgusting. Informed front desk and nothing was fixed for the next two days of my stay. Parking lot: very rough and full of holes during break-up. Hard pack could have been removed to make it much nicer. Breakfast: Hardly anything available. More assortment is definitely needed. Microwave was tiny and always dirty. At checkout, I informed the manager that the room was very dirty, she just said "sorry about that" and went about her business without asking for more detail. I considered sleeping in my vehicle instead of living in that dirty room, but I was not equipped to do that as it was quite cold outside. Will never ever stay there again.

Bed was good, no back ache in the morning. Only thing good. Broken window lock, had to break a hanger to wedge shut. TV didn't work, key card worked 1 out of 10 times.

The staff at front desk were very friendly. The property is old and dingy and in major need of much repair and updating - some of the vinyl floor areas are worn and curled up- tripping hazard. Looked like people might live there as there were cars parked that had been there awhile (snow piles on them) and a few at the back that looked junky and been there awhile too. Weird there was no real marked entrance either - we drove around the entire building and figured out it was the double doors with small porch. Our room had a window seat with a cushion that was dirty and the curtain lining had holes in them and very ratty looking. The top cover on the bed was stained. Bathroom was clean, for the age of hotel and towels were clean. However, after driving all day from Whitehorse, Yukon we just wanted a hot shower and a good night sleep. Shower did not happen because the tub would not drain. It filled just in the just time of getting the shower running and to a good temp. Sorry, not going to stand in a tub full water while showering. At that point, we just went to bed. The bed and pillows were comfortable but the walls are thin and there was a lot noise from upstairs rooms and traffic outside. I did tell the morning desk employee about the shower. She apologized. Also disappointed there was no fridge in the room. Will not be staying there again. And would not recommend to anyone.

They didn’t have a reservation for me after I had booked the night before. The lady wasn’t very helpful and when I showed up the wheelchair ramp wasn’t even shoveled off and I called her and she wasn’t happy she had to come shovel. I waited 10 minutes and then she never came so I had to go find and pay for another place. The money was taken from my account Chris Coleson. 907-691-4023.
