Our room was dirty when we checked in and We didn't want to be picky so we figured that housekeeping would tidy it up better the next day. But when we got back from our adventure our room had still not been cleaned. Also, there are a ton of birds outside that go all night long. It's almost like a little bird conservation area fenced off, people may want to know this before booking a room.

I think the employees could use some customer service 101. For example, the manager Amber said something along the line of “Filipino birthday parties are not allowed”. The main reason we booked our reservation was because of our daughter’s 8th birthday. We respected the hotel as well as the amenities. I thought it was a little premature to judge someone checking in based on my last name. I paid $570 for 2 nights during spring which was overpriced anyway.

Room was nicely put together, bed comfortable. Bathroom fan did not turn on and room had a smell. Friends in a nearby room also reported the same smell. smelled almost like old sour milk. I called about these 2 items the 1st night, front desk agent was so nice, but nothing ever happened on our 3 night stay.

Sorry but I feel like I have to keep it real. No fast access to the sidewalks on either C St or Industrial. Toilet was a good three feet from the roll holder, good-luck tearing some tp off using both hands. Bathroom had a sewer line gas leak smell, no ventilation fan available to turn on. Floors were clean and bed was nice, walls had some odd spills here or there that needed a better deep cleaning. Shower door had a gap down the entire length of it that my finger could go through, so it wasn’t water tight by any means. Staff and facilities were nice. I would stay here again if I had to but might not be my first choice.

I love the view from the hotel if you can get a high floor but they rarely accommodate me with requests like that despite asking for things like a bathtub when I booked the room. Or to get a room on the top floor.

From what I could see in the room we rented this property is in bad need of renovation, tons of paint chips missing all over the walls makes everything look very outdated.

Says check in is at 3. Room wasn’t ready until 4:30. There was an unbelievable amount of popcorn under the couch cushions. Crumbs all over kitchen counters. Trash and food left under bed and sheets very obviously hadn’t been changed as there was crumbs, hair and a used Kleenex tissue found in them. Very dirty

Okay for a night!
Nice, clean hotel near the airport. Comfortable bed. Hotel is right next to a highway and you can hear loud road noise all night - hotel does provide ear plugs. Bath towels were very small and very thin.

Little disappointed
I have stayed at Hyatt Houses before. Check in was fine, Room was a little beat up for what I have been used to seeing. Shocked to find the shower not completely cleaned and no hand soap in our room. Breakfast was disappointing for the cost of the one night stay.

This was a really nice hotel. It was not far from the Anchorage airport and the free shuttle was a huge bonus. The breakfast was very nice, plus coffee in the morning. We had a long day and it was nice to be able to have drinks and a quick dinner at the bar in the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. We would stay there again and recommend to anyone looking for a hotel in the Anchorage area.

Stay downtown if you can. This hotel is near the airport, but that’s really it. Seemed overpriced for what it was. Reminiscent of a Drury Inn.
