First off, the location was nice, pretty central to a lot of things. However, the property was a little different than what we're used to. Under the Supper umbrella, there's a hotel, then a bar, a club, a restaurant and then the suites. The stairs to the suites were pretty treacherous and not very well lit. The room was ok, big, nice bathroom, but wasn't crazy about the bed, it was enclosed by a wood structure, kind of awkward. Lastly, the club directly below the suites is open until 4am every day and you can hear and feel the music from every suite. They stay was ok, but I would not stay here again.

Based on one visit Pros Great location, just outside the southern corner of the 9 Streets with the museum quarter and the 9 streets as well as city center within walking distance. Tram stop nearby. Grocery store is one minute walk. The staff was very friendly and helpful. She check led our luggage and removed a few times and was very friendly about doing it. Nice explanation of the room. Two free beers and two peach ice teas and water in the bar refrigerator. Cons Its not a traditional hotel with the front desk in the building with the rooms. Not a big deal, but a bit inconvenient. No elevator, and steep stairs (not uncommon in Amsterdam but if you struggle with stairs this will be extra challenging. Stairs and walls are black and not well lit. Potentially trip hazard. We had a canal view but the flag/sign blocked part of it and it was the romance suite so a very weird bed that has a wall you have to climb over to get in. For local tall Dutch people probably not so bad but even then you cant sit on the bed and for people 5’ tall ish (my wife) you have to be an acrobat to get into the bed. She literally used the red glowing bathtub as a launchpad/step and did some twisting to get in and out unless I was there then Lifted her. The bathroom had black tile and walls. Nice quality tile and faucets but very dark. Coffee was not replenished nor was the cups replaced with clean ones.

We had a great time in Supper boutique hotel, staying in the art suite. The location of the hotel is extremely convenient, and you can easily walk to central Amsterdam or take the tram/metro to get around. The art suite itself is on the 3rd floor of the hotel, and the stairs are quite steep. Staff did not help carry luggage up these stairs. The shower was not as clean as I would have liked (a bit grimy on the edges and there was a slight odour). Staff were very welcoming on check in. During our stay, we did attempt to use the what’s-app AI chat-bot that they provided us for assistance with certain things, such as figuring out chromecast for the projector, or requesting new towels. It was not very helpful and we ended up having to go down to the front desk anyways to get what we needed. The suite itself has a very comfortable bed, a large bathroom area, a large living space and two balconies (one with canal views). The sofa in the living space was not very comfortable to sit on. The art concept in the room was very unique and made the stay worth the money. Overall, would recommend staying here, but be aware of some of the issues.
