Property is close to train station and city attractions. They allow storage of luggage before and after stay. Front desk personnel are pleasant. However, no lift and narrow staircase makes it difficult to get to your room. Room is less than adequate. Floor is uneven. Room is hot. Bed is uncomfortable. Hotel is loud. Room is small. Cost is lower than surrounding hotels, but way overpriced.

The property was generally okay, but after our stay my friend is covered in bed bug bites. The cleaners also threw away some food and receipts that had been left in the room during our stay

All the little stairs with a suitcase is very exhausting. The room with private bathroom was nice. Very convenient for everything. Laundry around the corner.

For the size of the room this was a pretty expensive hotel, but then again it is literally in the centre of Amsterdam, a short walk from the station. However, it is really noisy, both inside and out.

Perfect location

Perfect location in Dam Square close to everything. Like many hotels in Amsterdam is overpriced for what it is - small functional twin room approx £190 per night in August. Can be a little noisy. Front desk was helpful Hotel is linked with restaurant downstairs, and it is a little off-putting that patrons are directed upstairs to the hotel to use the washrooms

Much better than reviews portray

Having read some really severe and crippling reviews, we had misgivings, but these were found generally to be groundless and the hotel was a very pleasant surprise. It is relatively basic, but cleanliness was good, beds excellent, quiet most nights, staff very courteous and helpful, and central location really perfect! As long as you’re not after five-star accommodation this hotel will more than adequately suit.

I liked the location. I didnt like the hotell. Wasn’t possible to take a hot shower, and our room wasn’t properly cleaned. If you want a long and silent sleep i don’t recommend this place. Perfect for lads trip

Cleanliness was pretty poor and bedding was grubby and dirty. I wouldnt recommend for familes or people with young children staircases are very dangerous if you're not very careful. In my opinion its ideal for people that are there for the sesh ie drugs and drink

Don’t stay here with a baby

The rooms are very tiny so it’s difficult to open the luggage. We had to change room since our first room had a big hole on one side. We travelled with two adults and one baby and they gave us a room on the second floor without elevator and very steep stairs, and also with only a queen size bed for the three of us. The hotel is also on a very busy street with lots of people just outside the door. Stairwell and hall smelled like weed from time to time. The staff was not fresh wearing soft clothes. I would not recommend this place

The room was small which was to be expected. We didn’t have high expectations for this place, so I wouldn’t say it was unsuccessful in meeting those expectations. That being said, because our first night was a Sunday, the stay was much more expensive than necessary, especially for what we got. The floor was filthy…seemed to not be cleaned in a long time. We just kept socks nearby to take on and off. The area, well, it’s Amsterdam. I wouldn’t suggest taking your kids into the souvenir shops. Overall, for a hostile, this was probably one of the worse ones of stayed in.

This property is very misleading with their Expedia advertising. The photos listed first are nothing like the room we received. Upon scrolling through the photos once we arrived, we noticed the photos are stretched out to make the property look bigger. Our room was also not cleaned from the previous tenants. There was trash, used wet towels, hair in the beds, and it smelled musty. Additionally when we opened the window to get fresh air there was a pond of green mossy still water right outside the window that made the smell even worse. Other than the location this place was absolutely terrible. I would not recommend to anyone. If I was to go back to Amsterdam I would easily pay extra for a nicer place and even stay further from the city center.

Nicht zu empfehlen Das Hotel entsprach überhaupt nicht den Bildern auf der Website. Es war nicht sauber, und wir mussten in den dritten Stock – über eine extrem steile Treppe, die selbst für Erwachsene schwierig war. Das Zimmer lag direkt über einem Imbiss, wodurch ständig Essensgeruch hereinkam – Lüften war kaum möglich. Die Toilette befand sich außerhalb, im unteren Stockwerk, und es gab keinen Kleiderschrank. Insgesamt sehr enttäuschend und schrecklich. Wir würden nicht noch einmal buchen.
