Vossius is a good hotel given the price paid. I would describe it as cheep and cheerful. It was clean and as a solo traveller I felt very safe. Reception staff were friendly. Excellent location right next to Vondel Park. The bus stop for the 397 bus from the airport was just around the corner. It was in a quiet location and there was very little external noise on a night-time. Only negatives were the very soft mattress, the bathroom was tiny (with the sink over-hanging the toilet) and although there was a kettle in the room, it would have been nice to have some coffee provided. I would recommend this hotel.

The room was fine considering the price but our double room was two single beds put together which meant we had to push our beds together every morning as they would separate during the night. Although it says tea and coffee facilities are provided, this was just a kettle and two glass cups: no spoons, no teabags, no coffee etc.! If you're looking for a basic, private room, with something reasonably close to the centre then this will be okay for you.
