The Hotel Mosaic was a good location for our short stay in Amsterdam--walking distance from everywhere we wanted to visit. And the staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.
But I have to share that the bathroom in our room was absolutely disgusting. There was no ventilation (there seemed to be an exhaust fan on the wall but it wasn't working), so mold and mildew had formed on the ceiling and walls, and the hair dryer was rusted. So much moisture collected on surfaces that the toilet paper rolls were damp. The hotel's solution to this was to give the space a thorough scrubbing with strong chemicals, so it then smelled of mildew AND chlorine.
So despite the location and the friendly staff, I would not stay here again.
