Large comfortable room. Good buffet breakfast. Restaurant closed due to holidays unfortunately. Good Internet. Bar open in evening. Close to tennis centre.

It's a little outside of Amsterdam, which could be good or bad depending on what you're looking for. We appreciated that it was in a quiet area. The room we stayed in was a little dated, but adequate for our needs. The staff was nice and the area around the hotel was nice.

Excellent stay

While browsing for a hotel near Schiphol Airport, we found that Grand Hotel offered one of the most affordable rates, and the standard was surprisingly high. The room was exceptionally spacious, featuring one and a half bathrooms — with the main bathroom including both a bathtub and a separate shower booth, which was a pleasant surprise. As we had an early flight to catch, the hotel thoughtfully prepared an excellent takeaway breakfast for us. Given the overall experience, Grand Hotel will be the first place we check when traveling to Amsterdam/Schiphol again.

Good rooms but bad breakfast

The hotel is good, the rooms are spacious and the location is good (though, it's far from the city) but in a quiet area. However, the biggest low is the breakfast, out of 6 days I only had once and it was such a letdown, with a limited variety
