Terrible stairs

Good location, and small clean room. I stayed in a single there on 27-30 September, 2016. But honestly speaking, I won't suggest to anyone elso. Killing stairs, which are probably about 15-20 cm wide, are totally precipitous and terrible. If u just have a backage, it would be ok. If u have a heavy baggage, please don't consider this hotel. As I checked in, there was one receptionist helping. But as I checked out, there was only a female receptionist. I asked for help to carry my baggage together. She refused it due to her injuries. She couldn't carry anything, even 1 kg. Finally, I carried my baggage with a female cleaner. Fortunately my room was at 2 floor Only, and I didn't fall down. Otherwise, the light of the shower room is automatic. If u don't move for few seconds, it would turn off. Overall, it can't say as a "hotel", only hostel.

房間整體是舒服的，很乾淨，採光很好，只是晚上照明有點不足，WIFI速度很快，床很舒服所以我給3分 距離主要景點有點遠，走路30分鐘，地鐵也要轉好幾次，周邊感覺是個有點危險的區域，再加上每次進出飯店得要等前台的人幫你開門，而且我一個人旅行感覺更可怕

matelas extrêmement dur, lumière de la salle de bain qui ne s'éteint jamais (même pas d'interrupteur), lavabo a dessus des toilettes (très très inconfortable), escaliers très très pentus et pas d'ascenseur, pas de service se dépôt des bagages (enfin si mais aucune surveillance donc risques de vol), ALARME INCENDIE QUI SE DÉCLENCHE EN PLEINE NUIT PLUSIEURS FOIS EN 3 JOURS. Bref, n'y allez pas.

The room and staff were fine, but the wifi was so poor only my phone could use it. Two lights didn't work, so I turned on the TV to supplement the lighting. Well located except for having to climb a narrow stairwell to the 4th floor. And it was odd that reception was at a different address a few doors down. Maybe it was because of the weekend, but I paid less for more comfortable accomodations in Brussels and London. Still, it was the cheapest option and I would probably stay there again.

Within 15 min walk to station. Decent eateries not far away. Room clearly had not been cleaned properly before our arrival. pastry crumbs on bedside table and floor beside the bed. The bath towels were old and thin. The lack of a lift seriously detracts from this place, the stairs are horrendous with 2 heavy suitcases. Does not suit older people like us. Very expensive for what you get.

They have bed bugs!! The 2nd floor smelled like sewer, there were no towels in our room on the first day, we had to ask for them. There was hardly any shower pressure. You have to walk two flights to check in at the hotel next door then walk down the street to walk up more steps to the actual hotel.

Don’t stay in this hotel, avoid at all cost. The pictures are inaccurate. The pics posted by Expedia are either the hotel 20 years ago or a sister renovated hotel. The area is currently renovated with a lot of roads work, juggling the homeless people was the beginning. When we open the front door, the foul humid smells were poignant. On the first floor, where our room was located, the dust and the shredded wall paper was visible. When we enter the room, the door was already opened as well as the window to certainly cover the vile smells, the room was filthy, stain in the toilets, more than dated shelf, amenities that didn’t work. Two lonely hangers to put your clothes, and nowhere to recharge your phones than the floors. The bed sheets smelled. And all that some something close to 200 GBP a night. This is really greed. Hotel was full and not able to give another room, and they also offer the refund of our remaining 2 nights on the Saturday morning if we vacated the room by 12 with nowhere to go. It really felt like you don’t like it so just get out, that’s the way we deal with the issue. The maintenance guy to try to fix the issue and house keeping on the Saturday and the bed sheets when from strange to bleach smells. House keeping didn’t do a good job mapping the floor as the cigarette wrapper were still under the beds. Expedia customer service helped quickly and responsively, but nothing came out of it. Expedia must vet their properties for accuracy. We were missleading

Room and bedding was clean, although doors and woodwork needed repainting, and bathroom tiles were not done well. The additional door bolt didn't work. Lamp didn't work. TV was useless. Stairs were very steep and there were so many, and you have to go up 2 sets to check in, back down, and then up (for me) another 4 sets to get to room. The bed was rock hard. The bedding and towels were very clean and changed daily. Apart from one wall of tiling, and a weird tap design, the bathroom was decent and modern. Decent location. 20 minute walk to train station. Close to shops and city centre.

This hotel had no elevator and the stairs were very narrow and many. It was very challenging with luggage. The reception clerk told us that we had to make sure that the bathroom door was closed when we took a shower or the fire alarm will go off. My husband used the bathroom and took a shower and the interior light (motion activated) turned off 3 times while he was in there. At least they had a coffee machine but the room was very basic and cheap looking more like a youth hostel than a hotel. The front doors to the rooms are spring loaded and our neighbour left the room maybe once an hour, letting the door slam shut which was very noisy and disturbing. The hotel was close to the areas that we wanted to visit which was a plus, but the room looked nothing like the one advertised. Not at all impressed with this hotel. Very disappointed.

Nada coincide con las fotos, la habitación es una porqueria con olor a humedad, no puedes ni caminar dentro de lo pequeño que es, no servia la luz (nunca se apagaba), la ventana tampoco, las paredes estan con cemento nada más, sabanas y almohadas sucias.
