"Amazing place and great location , Joao and his staff were very accommodating and helpful during my stay , would highly recommend and would book again when I’m back in Amarante , the breakfast at the bakery across the hotel was amazing and the staff there were very nice and helpful as well , I was in town in to prepare for a cycling race and they helped with a breakfast box the day of my race. They left everything in the fridge se we could help ourselves to breakfast very early. Very much appreciated. Susanna was wonderful and made us a fire and was very welcoming."

"Everything about the place is beautiful and deserves a longer stay to enjoy all the amenities. Unfortunately, the town is charming but does not offer much for more than 1 night. If I could do it again, I would arrive earlier to enjoy the facilities and great restaurants, spa, etc., and still have some time to walk around the charming town."
