「Beautiful surroundings and room amenities. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. We tried the spa and sauna, which was good for a relaxing vacation. Not many dining options around and we stayed in the hotel restaurant for dinner, A bit expensive than average but affordable. 」

All the staff are incredibly helpful, pleasant and went out of their way to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. The "lake" pool is incredible, and is perfectly complimented by their in-house wines which they will bring to you at the pool! Could not recommend the hotel enough! 」

「What can I say about this hotel it’s set in the beautiful Douro valley on the river front surrounded by the mountains, in Porto Antigo, the staff are very friendly and helpful the bar is well stocked and the food is very good. We would definitely recommend it and will return in the future. 」

「Optima acomodação , super limpa e perfumada. Muito bem localizada em pleno centro de Mondim de Bastos, com um excelente pequeno almoço ! Anfitrião bastante simpático, conhecedor dos encantos circundantes que amavelmente nos forneceu algumas dicas muito úteis! Recomendo vivamente!! Referência ao alojamento em tempo de covid 19 , tudo bastante limpo e cuidadoso, todos com uso de máscara o que nos deixou super tranquilos. Recomendamos está habitação mesmo em tempo de pandemia ! 」

「This was our first stay at Douro Palace and as we arrived and parked up we were amazed with location and appearance of the site. We were really pleased with the welcome we received and then when we arrived at our room, which we had booked with a river view, were amazed with the view - we’d really recommend a river view room. We enjoyed the outdoor pool that was available 24 hours with a bar open in the daytime. We ate both nights we stayed at the restaurant which had really good portion sizes...

「Lovely hotel. The room was spacious and clean. The spa was heaven as the indoor pool, hot tub and Turkish bath were included. I didn't see the sense in having to buy the shower cap/swimming cap as it wasn't waterproof 」
