Die Unterkunft wenig überraschend etwas abgelegen. Speisen kann man am besten im Hotel, da in der näheren Umgebung keine wirkliche Alternative ist. Leider funktionierte nicht alles im Zimmer und man hat eine Behelfslösung gefunden, aber keine bequeme.
An sich sind die Zimmer ausreichend. Schön wäre wenn das WLAN auch am Schreibtisch funktioniert und nicht nur bis gerade hinter der Tür.

Frühstück war sehr gut . Ruhige Lage . Bett Matratze war recht hart . Kopfkissen zu dünn . Aber nur weil nicht so flach liegen kann. Es war alles ok. Balkon war sehr schön .

reservation was not honored
The hotel was sold out or over booked. We didn't get the family room we reserved for four guests. We got wrong room keys for two separate rooms instead of one family room. The temperature was too hot and the windows in one room didn't work so we had to sleep in one room where the windows work but we only had one bed.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, the most polite that I have ever had at any hotel. Large comfortable room. Great breakfast with very fresh food and produce. Rural setting offers relaxing quiet and fresh air, but that is also one of the problems. We came for the Black Forest, and the location is too far north to take full advantage of the entire region. I would wholeheartedly reccomend it for a few days to use as a base for the attractions of the northern region before moving to a hotel further south. The other problem is that there is no air-conditioning which most of the year is not an issue, but we were there for a week of 30C+ weather. It was OK because we left in the morning and returned at night, but for guests who might spend more day time at the hotel, check the weather in advance.

Schöne Terrasse und guten Kuchen, Schwarzwälderkirschtorte zu empfehlen.
Zustand des Hotels sehr in die Jahre gekommen, abends regnete es durch die Decke an der Bar!

Excellent stay
The experience here was amazing. Very up kept facility with numerous amenities, swimming pool, pool table, it's in the Black Forest, fussball table, and restaurant. It's €26 euro per person for the buffet and A la cart is expensive as well. I re come d eating out at a local gasthaus. Way cheaper. Breakfast in the morning which is covered in room rate is amazing. So many choices. Would definitely stay again.
