「The Explorer’s Hideout was great! The cabin was very cozy and comfortable, the screened porch was a pleasant bonus, and the bathroom was super nice and just across the road (very easy to access). Would highly recommend!」

「Excellent location on the Main Street in town. Room was very spacious, clean had a nice courtyard. Nice amenities and comfortable bed & pillows. Very close to Davis Mountains State Park where we enjoyed hiking two days. Wish more of the restaurants, shops and coffeehouses were open.」

「Open skis quiet and close to Terlingua」

「This place gets hit by storms constantly but no backup generator! so if your lucky enough to get this room when a random storm (wont appear on weather apps) hits be prepared to be without electricity and AC oh ya when that happens no water either for a whole night!!」

「The place was very clean, and as listed had pretty complete kitchen which we enjoyed. Bedrooms are a bit tight but we managed. Experienced record heat but ac worked great! Good location for visit to Big Bend. We should’ve stayed 2 nights. 」
