Checkin Done through a webform and unique key code for access. (No physical key needed) parking lot just outside with fair prices. (Other business) 2 minutes walk to city center and the lake. Will definitiv look for moncasa next trip to agios nikolaos. If other apt hotels could work like this traveling would be more enjoyable....

"It's a nice and quiet hotel. Location: A bit far from town or the beach. Breakfast: at a first glimpse it looks rich but then you realize there isn't much to eat if you're looking for a healthy start. Only goat yogurt, basic kids' cereal, tasteless coffee, canned juice... Greece should be the capital of healthy and tasty cuisine. Room with sea view: we paid extra for sea view - it was blocked by palm trees... No desk in the room in case you need to work on your laptop. Gym: I can call this a gym. It was well below any standard for a gym. Pool and surrounding - perfect. Pool bar perfect. Staff - very accommodating knowledgeable and pleasant. ."

"A top resort. An awesome place with amazing staff, great facilities like the rooms, the restaurants the pools. The views and luxurious feel are just perfect. The beach itself is clean and relaxing. The place itself is extremely quiet so if you’re looking for a very quiet place to get away this is the one. The food for an all inclusive is absolutely superb in comparison to other all inclusives I’ve been too. The only criticisms be that for an all inclusive there aren’t many snacking options outside of the breakfast, lunch and dinner. Drinks are also a little watered down but that’s expected, internet could also be better."

"We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel for two weeks and cannot recommend highly enough. We arrived late and very tired and was greeted with a big smile and welcome drinks from Dimitris who always went out of his way to ensure we were enjoying our stay. We had a room overlooking the small pool which was quiet and perfect for us. But just a few steps away was the stunning large pool leading to the beautiful beach. The hotel was spotless and the room cleaned very well daily (special mention to all the cleaning staff especially Angela). All staff deserve recognition they all smile and can’t do enough for you. Breakfast had many options and was delicious which you ordered the day before. Option of being served to your room or in the restaurant overlooking the sea. The restaurant served great drinks & lovely food with a smile and although it shut at 7pm there was a great taverna next door open till very late run by the brilliant Nicos. I would recommend a car as there is so much beauty to see & plenty to do around this beautiful part of Crete. Honestly we were blown away. Thanks so much The River, we’ll be back next year. Claire & Mark x"

"Incredible property, amazing location. Rooms are very spacious, comfortable beds. Food at all outlets was really delicious - and the consistency of the buffet breakfast was impressive. Property is quite large, but you're never left waiting long to get a buggy to take you from one part of the resort to the other. Another massive plus for families is how well staff cater to your needs. Not only is the kids club an amazing resource, but even down to how staff across all restaurants are so good and friendly with children. The beach club is also super chic, food is great there too. The water at the beach is fresh, but so beautiful, amazing blues. I would recommend if you are staying in the eastern part of Crete - this is the place to be, it's a resort feel without being to commercial and touristy feeling - a great balance of luxury and reality, given the area it's located in (situated between the small village of Plaka and larger town of Elounda)"
