「Dogs friendly lodge. I do appreciate people in the UK treat their dogs as families. We saw a lot of friendly dogs in the lodge. What a great experience. The breakfast is nice and the receptionist is enthusing to deliver help. 」

The B&B is decorated to a high standard with lots of William Morris touches in keeping with the style and age of the property. 「We had the best sleeps in these beds!!!! The breeze through the big windows was a relief. The room was perfect for myself and 2 boys, spacious and everything we needed!!! Breakfast was delicious, the Yorkshire tea brewed in a pot was perfect. Lorraine and Simon are lovely hosts, I would definitely recommend the guest house to my friends. 」

「The owners were very welcoming & the room had everything needed for a weekend away. The breakfast was lovely too. We would definitely recommend and if we returned to Keswick we would stay there again. 」

「Phil and Helen were great hosts, nothing was too much trouble, very welcoming, helpful and the breakfasts were great. Rooms are comfortable. Great location with walks, pubs and restaurants nearby so no need for the car. Would stay again.」

「Maple Bank is a gem of a place. Super location literally 100 yards from a bus stop, which has an hourly bus right through to midnight, with a £2 fare cap! 「We had a wonderful stay. Our room was small but very comfortable with views of the hills. The tea and coffee choices are the best I've ever seen anywhere. Lorna is a lovely host and makes the best breakfast with plenty of choices. The location is approx. 15 minutes walk into Keswick and the Threkeld trail, just down the hill, make walking there better away from the traffic. We would definitely recommend Brookfield and hope to vist again. 」
