"There were ants everywhere in the apartment, a lot of broken things at the spa. We kind of wish we stayed closer to the cute town of Lagos. Ultimately didn’t really use spa much anyway."

"This is a great hotel with a good location. The room is spacious and the balcony is a great space to unwind or to enjoy a book or a cocktail. The view from our room was fantastic. Breakfast tastes delicious and service is fantastic. The bar service is excellent, we enjoyed the quality of the cocktails and happy hour. A water refill station in the lobby was a nice touch. The pool table in the lounge area was an unexpected and nice surprise. The location is a short walk to the waterfront and a good hike to town, but Uber is quick and cheap if you are done walking."

"Very much enjoyed the two fine dining options and poolside terrace for luchtime food and drinks. Room on 3rd floor at the back with terrace but slightly disappointed as the garden onto which the terrace looks was not maintained to a good standard compared with other areas. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed our stay which is the second time we have visited this hotel."

"The property is beautiful overall with gorgeous views and friendly staff! There is construction that ruins the views right now. We booked a deluxe ocean view room and the construction was right in front of us so that was a bit disappointing. But overall things were lovely! The breakfast room is quite hard to get an outside table (which have the nice views!) And if you want to use the sauna you need to pre book."

"Used for one full day stay at Faro. Close to airport (8 minute walk). Room was clean and very basic. There was a place to lock luggage privately for early arriving. Very nice & well kept pool. There is a grocery store with a food cafe inside about 4 minute walk away. As a basic hotel close to airport at a fair price this was a good option."

"Amazing property! We recently stayed at PortoBay Blue Ocean and had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The hotel is beautifully maintained, spacious, and offers everything needed for a relaxing and memorable holiday. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, efficient, and completely hassle-free. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always attentive to guests' needs, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options available every morning. There was something for everyone, and the cakes and pastries were especially outstanding. The facilities are exceptional and very well maintained. The hotel features both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, along with a relaxing jacuzzi area. The spa offers a great selection of massages and treatments, providing the perfect opportunity to unwind and recharge. One of the highlights of our stay was the evening entertainment. The live singing performances created a wonderful atmosphere and added a special touch to our evenings. Another unique feature is that PortoBay Falésia is connected to PortoBay Blue Ocean by a beautiful wooden walkway. The breath-taking ocean views along the path make every stroll a memorable experience and add to the charm of the property. The location is fantastic, with stunning coastal scenery and direct access to some of the most beautiful views in the Algarve."
