Lagos Atlantic Hotel

"The Good: very clean property and rooms. Good location : 10 mins walk from the beach. The bad : lazy, unhelpful and impolite staff ( except for the nice lady who checked us in) , especially the guy with specs at reception was incredibly rude and borderline racist as he would not even greet us, but saw him talk nicely to other guests. Not sure why is he in hospitality! Most of staff are not ready to move a muscle to help guests. Breakfast : nice breakfast spread , but it starts at 8AM which is very late. Considering Lagos harsh sun, if you want to start your day early, this is not the place."

"The rooftop was great with fab views of the harbour and breakfast was good. The room was basic but comfortable. The pool is quite small and can get a little overcrowded. Excellent spot for visiting Faro. Don’t miss the boat trip on the Ria Formosa. Really worth visiting ."
Belmar Spa & Beach Resort

"We had a nice two bedroom apartment with a huge balcony overlooking the adult pool with a partial sea view. The apartment was very clean and well appointed, and we liked the location just a short walk to the beach. My two complaints are that there are no black out shades in the bedroom and it gets very bright early in the morning, and also the only pool that’s heated is the indoor spa pool. That was disappointing as the outdoor pools were too chilly to enjoy, especially with the high winds we experienced while staying there. Otherwise, the resort is great. Very friendly staff, convenient food and drink options onsite, and nice location."

"Advertised as having a private beach but there is no access to the beach. I thought it was storm damage but I was told there was never a private beach with assess. Otherwise beautiful hotel. And the pool was delightful but no useable beach,"
