「3 night stay middle aged couple Room was ok but a little damp. No aircon just a fan. Very basic pop up clothes organiser. Bed comfortable. No other facilities really. We were expecting an ensuite (room 5) but this was described as a private bathroom where we had to walk down a communal corridor past the breakfast room, Far from ideal. 「Checking in was very smooth. The hotel contacted me in advance and was ready for our arrival. Checked us in, helped with our luggage and gave us some very useful local insights to the restaurants nearby. During our stay they even gave us a nice surprise, to help us enjoy the wonderful city and area even more. 「Casa Balthazar was fantastic. We stayed in 6 apartments or hotels over a 2 1/2 week vacation and Casa Balthazar was the best. We tend to book higher end stays. Once you find this boutique hotel, you will walk into a lovely isolated place. The staff were so friendly and the rooms were great. Breakfast was so good - don’t skip the Pastel De Nata!! The hotel is an easy walk to the sites, restaurants and shopping. We would stay again when we come back!」
