"It was a comfortable stash, however for being a new hotel, they could’ve had outlets next to the bed (on night stand) with USBC and USB connectors. Small fridge light is too bright at night time. WiFi info should be in the room or handed over after signing in. Calling the front desk, I was told to dial 100, after I asked. I called by dialing zero, which did not work. This could’ve been avoided if there were instructions in the room "

Alange Castle

Alange is a municipality located in the province of Badajoz, Extremadura, Spain. As of 2017 the municipality has a population of 1,891 inhabitants.
It is home to Roman baths (still active) a medieval castle (but of Roman origins), located on a hill commanding the Matachelriver. It was held by the Order of Santiagofrom the 1240s, and was abandoned in 1550.

"I felt taken advantage of at this property. When we checked in they informed me that Expedia had under charged me as a single and I was traveling with my daughter. So they had to add extra fees for her and for parking. Even after I showed them the reservation confirmation clearly showing 2 people on it, they insisted I pay extra fees. Check-in was prompt and smooth, and we were able to add a last-minute breakfast option without any hassle. Extending check-out by an hour was also easy to arrange with a quick phone call. The room, while on the smaller side, was clean and well-prepared to accommodate all our needs. The hotel’s location was a big advantage, within walking distance of a covered public swimming pool as well as the Roman amphitheater and theater. Overall, it was a great choice for our short stay in Mérida."
