"Overall pretty good resort that is unfortunately showing its age. Our room was rather small for a family style room (comparatively to other ryokans we stayed at for a similar price point) but very clean. Beautiful location but very remote if you donโ€™t have a car. Shuttles to and from Inawashiro station made it easy to take day trips to other areas. Most of the resortโ€™s amenities were also not open during our stay too. The resort supposedly has multiple restaurants but only two were open while we were there. The outdoor onsen is quite nice as well."
