Senator Águilas Hotel
Is this really a 4* hotel? Our room was really run down, the furniture was dated and badly worn. Pretty dreadful. The redeeming features being location and indoor pool. We didn't have breakfast as at £25 a night that is a absolute rip off. Instead we ate at a beach side cafe for less than 10€.

Maxcaly Playa
The rooms are relatively basic but clean and tidy. It's literally on the beach so you can't argue about access to the beach, but in the evening there is nothing nearby in terms of bar/restaurant other than one downstairs which closed early when we visited. We ended up driving into Aguilas to find ...

Good air con. Good parking. NO water in room, not even a small bottle. Wi-Fi dreadful in room.
