"If you need an elevator for your luggage, not the hotel for you. We repaired the shower handle & chair leg in our room. There was no tissue, one flat pillow each, couldn’t open the windows, or you would be assaulted by cigarette smoke from the courtyard below. The hotel is RIGHT next to train tracks, so again, couldn’t open windows to sleep. Walls are paper thin, we heard people coming down the stairs at 04:30am, as though they were in our room. There are no on-site employees, so you have to call if you need anything. It IS a very funky/artistic place but more of a dorm room than a hotel. NEVER AGAIN"

"It is in an excellent location in walking distance to Museum Island and restaurants in Mitte . It is well maintained but I heard acoustics is an issue so I requested top floor room which was very quiet . Only issue is that the shower drain backed up and caused flood in the room . They fixed it next day but I was nervous nevertheless. But it is otherwise an excellent hotel"
