"We used this hotel for the first time whilst visiting our son at uni. We were initially very pleased with this hotel and we really enjoyed the Indian food in the restaurant. However, we were not made aware of an event that involved very loud music until midnight. We were also given a room that faced directly onto the disco. When checking in, there was a sign up about the event. I asked if we would hear it from our room and we were told ‘definitely’ so we requested a quieter room. This was not possible. Best practice would be to inform us ahead so that we could’ve booked somewhere else or reserve the quieter placed rooms for guests not attending the events. The room was lovely though and once the event finished, the hotel was quiet. Not sure I would stay there again due to the lack of sleep which is such a shame as we really liked the hotel. "

"We did not feel the breakfast was value for money. Our room was clean although it was freezing cold. For a club room it was disgraceful."

"Room compact, but comfortable, with good facilities, a comfy bed and a decent shower. Had quick bite in restaurant before heading out - service was impeccable and food was good. Good selection at breakfast - continental buffet plus hot food to order. ALL staff were friendly and helpful "

"Fantastic staff both in the evening and at breakfast. Good quality breakfast and clean tidy room. Only negative would be the lighting from the ‘Burger King’ out the black which did come in round the curtain…. I’m pretty light sensitive but was still nice"
