「Lovely, beautifully decorated guest house in heart of village. Rooms absolutely spotless and very comfortable. Fantastic rooftop views which can be enjoyed from the hot tub. There's an honesty bar in the lounge too! Our second visit to this lovely wee oasis in the sun.」

「The staff were amazing and very helpful, however there are a few things I want to note if you are reading this and want to travel there: The airport shuttle from the hotel was 55€ when the uber was around £27 (£31-£32) On the “Things to do” section it lists outdoor tennis court and volleyball however both of these facilities didn’t appear to be very well maintained Getting around by foot in such a hilly area is a lot and constantly booking Ubers can amount to quite abit. 「We went looking for a long weekend at the beach and it didn't disappoint. The set up where the kids had a pull out couch bed, but it was actually two mattresses was a really nice set up and both the pull out bed and the main bed were extremely comfortable. The pool wasn't over crowded and the staff was lovely. The beach was stunning.」

「Staff for very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and very spacious. Breakfast has a lot of options but their warm food were often a bit cold. Outdoor pool were very nice. I like that there is an adult pool and kids pool the restaurants inside the hotel where a bit too expensive but the buffet dinner was also good with good value of money. The beach was very nice but mind you the sunbeds were very expensive.」

「Beautiful quiet place with caring hosts! Since there are only two rooms, the chance is good to have it completely on your own, ok besides the lovely purring cats and the Egg Suppliers 😀 Gabriela and Håkon live their dream. 「Had a really good time there with my family. I actually booked another hotel in Sagres, but with much smaller space and poorer infrastructure. So I cancelled that one, and drove back again to Balaia hotel. Again the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also an indoor swimming pool nearby. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Not to mention that the price is so attractive. Definitely worth it.」
