Considerable if you are on an accommodation budget

Well the hotel staff were great. They oversold their gym though as most equipment were non functional. Breakfast was not the best I have had but would hold you for 2 hours.. Light was not 24/7 I guess they were trying to manage diesel but it was very fair.

Accra är en enormt stor stad. Hotellets är billigt och ligger i ett område som kan likas vid ett villaområde i Sverige. Bor man på Oscarpac måste man ha transporthjälp. Taxi eller hotellets egna chaufför. Vi hyrde hotellets chaufför och deras stora 7-sittsiga Toyota fyra heldagar - mycket Bra alternativ. Hotellets frukost var enkel liksom maten i övrigt

Non ho piu parole per esprimere la mia esperienza indimenticabile a Oscarpak Hotel.Ho gia soggiornato in questo albergo 2 volte e mi sono trovato bene.E come la mia seconda casa quando sono via per lavoro in Gana,Accra.Un albergo con tutti i servizi funzionante 24h/24h sopra tutto servizio internet,servizi in cucinae sicurezza,gym etc. Un albergo molto facile ad localizzare via mezzi e un airport shuttle a qualsia si momento.Il front desk e anche 24h/24h 7. The staff provided excellent service. The hotel is not far from the Accra mall(Accra - Tema motor way or airport), A & C Mall (East Legon) and the Marina Mall close to Holiday Inn (Airport) and many of Ghana attractions. Local food and continental dishes are equally available in the Hotel restaurant and a bar. Local power outages sometimes...but the hotel has a stand by generator to provide electricity at any moment .The hospitality is perfect 100%.The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. They made my stay feel like home especilally Bernice,Becky,Rose,Sammy and Mr.Gabriel and in a nut shell the M.D. (very friendly and welcoming). Good air conditioning, hot water, restful stay. I do plan on coming again. Will recommend and visit again.

fantastic service

oscarpak royal hotels met all my expectations, the hotel was extremely neat,the staff Bernice and Beckie and the kitchen staff were quite friendly and very responsive. they took care of all my complaints, the gym was good and the food was nice I also enjoyed the terrace and the little garden. The only downside was that the 250m road to the hotel needs some attention and you will have to walk a bit to get cabs and from the hotel rules it seems you can't have visitors in your room which is a bit awkward. Generally I enjoyed my stay and will be back again if I have business in the Legon area

I wouldn't go again

I was disappointed in the hotel. The good things were the friendliness of staff and ACU in rooms. My partner actually became friends with the staff as they were supernice. However, it had many bad things. I am a student so the prices were steep for me, but compared to what prices in general are, I would say the hotel was pricy even though here at hotels.com it is one of the cheapest ones. For instance, car to the airport cost twice as much as it would have if I had taken a taxi. Also, the breakfast was unsatisfactory (2 slices of bread, no butter, omelette, sometimes bits of hotdogs, varying drinks - sometimes not even tea), the hotel was far away from everything, and there were almost no services in the surrounding areas. In addition, the google map is incorrect by a few kilometres on where the hotel is. It is actually more towards Achimota.

Quite some distance from city center

Generally, ok. Power was never out. The room had not been used for some days perhaps and the floor was all dusty on the day I checked in. I battled with mosquitoes all three nights. Even though the hotel kept spraying the room with insecticide, it was not effective. So please perhaps stop using RAID(insecticide) and use something else and also check the window nettings are still ok. Complimentary breakfast should be from 7am and varied and not much later as guests have business in town and may be out long before its ready. Internet service was ok and hotel personel exceedingly helpful.

the bed i got was too hard

in general the staying was good but you have to have a look at the room number 102 and try to get a soft mattress it was too hard and not that easy to sleep on that bed .

Gutes und einfaches Hotel, weit vom Zentrum der Stadt, nicht für touristischen Aufenthalt geeignet. Zimmer einfach und gut, Restaurant nicht zu empfehlen, Küche ist nicht gut und sehr langsam.

Pleasant hotel, but seemingly far away from most places in Accra, except for the University. Pleasant staff, large room and bathroom, comfortable, clean bed made up for the poor selection and extremely poor service in the dining room.

Good

The taxi cost 15gha to this hotel from the airport. The Hotel staff were very nice and accommodating. The rooms were clean, they have a nice bar and restaurant. It is a little far from everything...close to GIMPA university. The negatives are the bed was just as hard as the floor or even harder, and there is no AC in the bathroom. But if you are on a budget this is a great place to stay. There is free wifi and the rooms are nice and clean with ac and a tv, plus there is a nice place to sit outside and have a cold drink.

Short stay, but satisfied. The management should advertise the hotel more. People don,t know the hotel, not even taxi drivers at the airport .this is not good enough for an hotel of your standard . Keep the good work on. I will call again.

gutes einfaches hotel für Übernachtung

Das hotek kann man empfehlen., es liegt weit außerhalb Accra-City, Aber die Zimmer sind preiswert und gut. Wer hier länger zu arbeiten hat, es ist gut. Nach Accra-City ist es weit, und taxi sehr teue für weiße Menschen. Die Küche ist sehr schlecht und langweilig, Die zubereitung eine menüs dauert 40 Minuten. Getränke muss man sich selbst holen außen von der Bar. Man sollte hier nicht essen, das frühstück ist schmal und einfach, nicht gut, Der service der Küche ist langsam, nicht freundlich.

half a mile away from the nearest tarmac road, no generator for when the regular electrical power-cut kicks in, only had hot water on my first night and only cold water onwards

Schlicht und einfach

Die Zimmer sind einfach und gut für den Pris. Hotel zu weit von Centrum und Airport entfernt. Küche ist mangelhaft, sie ist zu langsam, Getränke muss man sich selbst holen von der Bar, für eine kurze Nacht kann man empfehlen.

Very Unpleasant hotel.

The hotel was very hidden and the roads leading to the hotel was not tarred and pretty unsafe. The hotel was very far away from the airport and was very misleading. The reception was not friendly and there were no toiletries and towels. They DO NOT serve any kind of breakfast as they stated so overall it was a very nasty stay and wished I hadn't gone there. The told me breakfast will be served between 7am to 10am but when I asked where their restaurant was as I had to leave for the airport at 8.am they told me there was NO breakfast on that day. Not a very good stay.

Het hotel lag in een achterwijk. Je kon er goed wandelen en had contact met de locale bevolking. De service in het Hotel was prima, het eten was goed en de mensen waren heel vriendelijk. Het enige nadeel was de bedden, die waren erg hard, maar na een paar nachtjes was je daar wel aan gewend. Er waren wel zachtere bedden in het Hotel. Wij hebben daar een prettig verblijf gehad en raden het een ieder aan.

The Customer service was very good.

. I felt very safe. It was a friendly environment. Anything I wanted the staff was very accomodating. The manager was not much of a communicator. I was told he relied on his staff primarily to engage the hotel guest.

this hotel was just like guest houses in africa . roads towards hotel after main roads are very bad.it was total out of town. i have hired chartered taxi for two days to go to town day and night. there was no pick up service to and from the airport. I CALLED HOTEL FROM FREETOWN SIERRA LEONE BUT NO REPLY FROM THEM AND THEIR TELEPHONE LINE WAS NOT WORKING FINE EVEN I CALLED THEM FROM THE ACCRA AIRPORT STILL THERE WAS NO RESPONSE FROM THEM. all the hotel staff was very much co-operative with me.

No free water! Breakfast? Just for 1 (ONE) person!

O atendimento é razoável, as recepcionistas são gentis, mas o bairro é bem longe do aeroporto, as ruas não possuem pavimento e às vezes um odor de água podre passa pela frente do hotel. A internet WIFI funciona 1 ou no máximo 2 horas por dia, depois disso não funciona mais. Não há água grátis, e se você reservar o quarto para 2 (DUAS) pessoas apenas 1 vai receber café da manhã. Isso não é justo porque quando você reserva o quarto pra 2 eles acrescentam uma série de taxas, sobretaxas e impostos e mesmo assim vc não tem direito a café da manhã, FALA SÉRIO! Obs.: O café da manhã é solicitado por menu oral e não satisfaz, além da qualidade a quantidade é insuficiente.
