「Hotel is in a good location, ample parking. It's a stately building fairly well maintained, though the elevator access on floor 1 is hindered by the carpeting that restricts the door from opening. Yes you have to manually open the door to access the 50 + year old elevator and make sure it doesnt swallow any body part when the door closes, very cool. The food in the attached restaurant/ pub was good, though the service was hindered by only 1 person doing everything, hotel check in and restaurant...

「Impressed with the quality and decor in my room, plus besides being well positioned in the town, the food in the restaurant and at breakfast was superb. Lovely helpful staff too :D」

「Buffet breaksfast was available on request on all days of the week for £12. Food was great and room was very spacious and well equipped. There is no air conditioning so the rooms can get hot in summer. The bathroom fan was also very noisy when running. Overall had a great stay」

「Great stay! Could t fault the accommodation at all! 5 min drive from zip world, host left some extras for us, tea coffee sugar milk bottle of bubbly and some chocolates and shortbread! Excellent touch! Some nice walks nearby weather your a novice or a professional hiker something for everyone! Will definitely stay again! I’d recommend bringing some shopping with you, as the nearest shop is around a 30 minute walk away, however if you don’t mind driving it’s only 5/10 mins down the road to the...

「We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend this property. The host was very helpful and provided all the information we needed. The property was clean, comfortable, and had everything required for our stay. Breakfast was good, and the available parking was very convenient. We also appreciated the thoughtful touch of finding a small Bible in the drawer.Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would gladly return.」
