"D12 treetops at Clarach bay is a lovely setting. Family friendly and lovely staff. We had hot water and good recycling facilities. The site was perfect. However, some of our bedcovers had chocolate on them!!! We found spares to use instead. The green headboard on the main bedroom had a strong smell of unwashed hair ( it seriously needs to be replaced). We had no WiFi and on enquiring we were informed the previous guests had used it up? There were plenty cleaning materials and cooking facility...

"We stayed at this lovely apartment 19th-23rd February on arrival it was easy to acess and clean we are a family of 4 two teens who’ve both said they’d visit again. The apartment is a five minute walk to the train station and the town and the beach is opposite. Just a shame it weren’t pet friendly! "

"Our stay at the Bryn Eiddon lodge was amazing, the views were unreal and is located in a very peaceful and private area. The lodge has everything you need, everything was clean and functioned perfectly. We loved it (especially our pup) and will definitely be returning!"

"We as a family of 5 + a 3 yr old spent a delightful week at Penuwch Fach in July/August 2024. We were attending an interment and celebration of life nearby so the location was perfect. We were met by the owner and there was a welcome wine/biscuits plus tea and coffee. There is a Nespresso Gusto machine too plus a few pods :). "The hotel was nice and comfortable and furnishings modern. the bed was extremely comfortable. The outside bar area overlooking the tidal estuary was lovely. We had an evening meal the first night of our stay that was delicious and reasonably priced. The location is great and extremely handy for public transport. The railways station is literally next door and that is how we travelled. Only a couple of things to be aware of, the access stairs to the upstairs rooms are narrow and extremely steep."

"Super hotel in middle of Dolgellau. Efficiently run by courteous friendly professional staff. We did not eat there but wish we had! Everything as it should be in a good hotel. Plentiful overnight parking in the long stay carpark behind the hotel. Some traffic noise as it is an old building with single glazing but that is to be expected. "
