Stay somewhere else
This looked like a great little flat for a family of three, two adults and a nine month old. However, after arriving we shortly found that this place was not suitable at all. We had informed the owner that we would be later arriving so that they didnt have to have the place warm unnecessarily, yet when we turned up at 8pm the flat was freezing. It's Aberdeen and it had been snowing and -3 outside, yet the heating had been turned off completely. It's an old building with high ceilings and took 4hours to heat up. Not acceptable for a baby.
We later found the toilet leaked dirty water everytime it was flushed.
Then we also found that the kitchen sink was pouring water under the cupboard when the tap was on.
I informed the owner at 7am when we found these faults, so that they could rectify them. After numerous attempts to call, whatsapp, email I had my first communication back from them at 1pm. They stated that I should phone their handy man to sort the issue!? I phoned him and he turned up at 6pm that night after the toilet and sink leaking all day.
On a lesser issue, they had also only given towels for 2 adults even though they knew there was a baby as they charged an additional fee to have a baby in the property.
I don't know had the property not been let out for a while or was it different staff who attended the property but it was obviously requiring a lot of attention and looked nothing like the pictures on the website, including broken fittings around the property.
