I really liked this place. It's not a 4 or 5-star property, but I was looking for a clean, decent, fairly priced place for a solo traveler near Aberdeen's city center, and that's what it was. I got the smallest room, it was very cozy. The bed was clean and comfortable, the ensuite bathroom/shower was small but clean. The best parts about the place: it's got character! Great interior and lighting in the pub. The pub downstairs serves food, so I did not have to faff about looking for a place to eat after I got to Aberdeen. The clientele appears to be mostly locals so no late night drunken revelries--at least when I was there. And the staff were friendly and gave me some great information. They let me store my luggage the next day before taking the afternoon ferry too. I would love to stay here again.

Perfect place in a quiet street but very close to Union Street with bus stops. Lovely rooms with grat beds. Very friendly and helpfull staff and an excellent kitchen, great food and drinks. Lovely pub and dinner area, great breakfast. Would absolutely stay here again for a next viit to Aberdeen.

Very clean accomodation. In a bustling pub with a friendly atmosphere. Central location only 300 yards from Aberdeen Music Hall / Union Street, and close to HMT where we were heading to a show, so it was really convenient. The room was small but clean and well presented.

Right in the heart of Aberdeen, the perfect location for shopping and eating out (although the food in the Globe is great so why would you?). Good place to stay for concert goers too. Close to the train and bus station for easy travelling.

There was no free parking, and pay to park was expensive. The walls were very thin with a noisy bar patio outside the room. The expedia listing advertised laundry service, which was nonexistent. It was very clean with a roomy bathroom with tub included.

Check in was easy and friendly. We liked our room; though it was slightly dated it was quite clean. Only complaint was the drain plug wouldn’t release so had to keep that top component off during the stay. Would stay here again if ever in the area.
