"Staff were very kind, restaurant food was reasonably priced and delicious, rooftop pool and seating are lovely and offer great views of the city. Room was very clean and spacious. Easy to get around everywhere via Tuktuk but not a ton to do within reasonable walking distance. "

"We initially planned on staying a week, but ended up extending another week because this hotel was exactly what we needed. Our room was clean, and the hotel is in a great location, minutes from everything. What we like most about it is the tranquility, despite being in the middle of the city. It's so peaceful and quiet, while you feel like a guest in someone's home. My daughter is autistic so whenever we go out and she feels overwhelmed, this quiet place is just a short tuktuk ride away. We also traveled with our two cats and they enjoy looking out the windows. They did catch a lizard that came into our room a few nights ago and I'm trying to find it. The hotel also has a library as well as a restaurant. I haven't had the chance to dine there yet, but the menu looks wonderful."

"The hotel is clean and inviting. Hotel staff were friendly and professional. There’s a nice pool to relax at. The breakfast buffet had a variety of options. "

"Lovely clean hotel just one morning they couldn’t provide breakfast as the bakery hadn’t delivered it. "

"Room smelled very stale and didn’t improve after the next day’s cleaning. The bathroom smelled terrible… as if the smell of the drain pipes was emanating into it. Also, I booked this through Hotels.com and it clearly said it sleeps 3 people. And although it says 2 twin beds, the photo on the site showing the beds is taken at an angle which makes the bed in front look like a double bed so I thought the 2 twin beds description might be a mistake. To top it off, because we had 3 people, he wouldn’t give us the room so we had to upgrade. Although the posted rate had only $25 difference for the upgrade, the clerk wanted to charge me $40 per night for the upgrade which I managed to negotiate down to $30. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel… there are others in the area to stay at. "
