"The staff was kind and generally very helpful. They know and understand that most guests are there to see ancient Egyptian sites and to have a relaxing time. The room was fine... wouldn't say incredible, but clean and comfortable. However, the hotel itself is perched on top of a nice hill so you get a great view of the city, and it's fun to walk around with the views, poolside, restaurant, lobby, etc."

"good 3.5 star hotel. perfect location for walking Zamalek and getting to great restaurants, cafes, and transportation. best you can get on the island. staff is super friendly and helpful, rooms are dated, and breakfast is limited -- but still highly recommend for the location and other options. glad I stayed there."

The balcony door could not lock The hotel is dated, however, the condition of the hotel matches the price, it met the expectations Hotel had beautiful dates palms in front of the hotel, full of ripe dates. Having a beer on the restaurant terrace after a long day was nice. Smoking in the restaurant was not not nice"
