"This is an island to go to If you want a soft and calm holiday. We came here from a resort island on the north atoll and this is quite different. Here most guests are older and there are few wedding couples. Guest from europe and few russians. "We had visited Eriyadu last year & although the accommodation & public areas were now looking a little tired the actual island, staff & the whole experience was like our first ever visit to the Maldives 25 years ago. On returning they had completed a planned full refurbishment of all rooms & public areas and the transformation was amazing. Very modern & contemporary while keeping the relaxed feel of the island."

"This is a new clean hotel, located very close to beach (1 min walk). Everything was neat and clean, only missing part was no blanket/comforter on the bed (not sure they dont provide or forgot to put it, I didn’t ask as i didn’t need it), no soap and shampoo in the bathroom, apparently, they don’t provide. Breakfast was good, fixed menu (Omlete, toasted bread& butter and coffee). Airport is 20 mins bus ride, bus stop is on the same street, 2min walk from the hotel."

I figured the location being close to the beach would be great but phase ii island is under lots of construction and doesn't have the services that phase I has so this is a great location if you want steps. The noise from construction and the road noise was constant. The room cooled well, but the bathroom stayed a little warm. "Hotel is a few steps away from the beach and rooms are spacious and clean...I was surprised they have a bathtub and fridge in the room, didnt expect that for the price i paid. But it was just inconvenient checking out from our room on the 3rd floor with all our baggages and without a lift."
