Siamo stati ospiti a Makunudu per 1 settimana...un paradiso e relax garantito!bella la house reef! il diving center è gestito da due istruttori italiani davvero competenti. hotel confortevole con camere spaziose in stile maldiviano, caffè espresso e the disponibili in camera ogni giorno. pulizia buona.wi fi gratuito. ristorante davvero ottimo sempre. unica pecca: le escursioni disponibili sono poco sponsorizzate e organizzate male e spesso non vengono effettuate per non chiari motivi. nel complesso: bella vacanza!

This is an island to go to If you want a soft and calm holiday. We came here from a resort island on the north atoll and this is quite different. Here most guests are older and there are few wedding couples. Guest from europe and few russians. (Other resorts have lots of russian tourists) Tempo is lovely slowmotion on this small island and you walk around it in 20 minutes. What is uniquely with Makunudu? You got the wildlife around you and a living reef with excellent snorkeling from the beach. Sue and Ricardo (divecenter) welcome you with tip on good spots for snorkeling and arrange also tours. They are really great and Sues energi is wonderful! All staff is very good and food are various and good tasting. We had All Inclusive with a selected drinklist. Compared with the first resort, a smaller selection, but ok. Yes, wifi is really slow, but you can watch Netflix at home. Wifi 1 mbit down at villas. This is a genuine island, not partyparty with loud music and noicy children, quite the opposite. We loved it and suggest 5-7 days stay. Good connection at Male and we had just a shorts time at airport. Speedboat about 50 minutes one way and you need that distance away from Male so you can avoid all buzz with traffic around Male and all contianer ships. Makunudu is affordable and we strongly recommend this place If you like a soft and calm place with great sealife from the beach. And YES, I finally met Nemo!!

Une ile très intimiste (seulement 36 bungalows) et très belle au nord de l'atoll de Malé. Une cuisine de grande qualité, raffinée et inventive, la meilleur que j'ai mangée aux Maldives. Un personnel gentil et efficace avec un patron qui parle français ! Des tortues tous les jours à la barrière de corail ! Nous avons passé un séjour délicieux.

Loved the feeling of being on a secluded, peaceful island that felt authentic in design and decor rather than like a Westernized modern hotel. The staff were incredibly nice. There was a variety of delicious and fresh food everyday. The sea activities were plentiful. The massage at the spa was deeply restful and high quality. We stayed at three different places in the Maldives and this was our favorite.

Makundu resort is the ultimate gateway place. The island is a small piece of paradise surrounded by blue water and sandy beaches. You can do snorkeling, diving and water sport but if you are looking for some peace and quiet you can just find it in the Beach in front of your room. There are around 30 rooms on the resort so you can get a lot of privacy and quiet in your room area. The restaurant is really good with reach breakfast and set menu dinners (exceptions are Tuesday which is a barbecue night and Friday which is a Maldivian nights, both are buffet). the staff is very friendly and kind. In the evening you can enjoy the bar (average Maldivian resort prices) but also, see shark feeding, stroll around the beach and see the stars. We Had an amazing week and we will definitely come back.

В целом не плохо, но есть два замечания, которые было бы необходимо отметить на вашем сайте. 1. Персонал говорит только на английском языке! Нет никого, кто говорит по-французски, по-немецки и т.д. 2. На вашем сайте указано "WI-FI free". Это не правда, и многие на это жалуются. Вам дают бесплатно 2 Гб, остальное за деньги! Для тех, кому необходим интернет для работы, это не очень удобно. 3. Всё было хорошо до момента отплытия в аэропорт. Нам потратили много нервов. Одна парочка из Германии оплатила свой тур он-лайн ещё до приезда. Во время выезда начались выяснения, платили - не платили... В итоге задержали всех пассажиров в качестве заложников на 30 минут. Мы еле успели на свой рейс. Ребята сумели в последний момент испортить впечатление от такого прекрасного отдыха.

Close to nature at Makunudu

Everything was perfect! The villa was clean and cozy, ideal for holiday mood. The food was simply amazing mainly served as a menu, and twice a week as buffet. Excellent taste and plaiting. And now comes the best part: the house reef accessible from the beach! The coral reef was not in the best shape, but it was bundled with sea life. We saw so many beautiful fishes and also big turtles, octopuses and sharks(not dangerous). The vibrant island has something special with so much life: crabs,bats, small lizards and some birds with their weird songs(sometimes at 5am) adding it to the charm. As a negative point, they were providing only 2GB per device for free.Since nothing about the extra charge was mentioned in the reservation on Hotels.com, we argued about it and they provided free Wi-Fi in the end. We loved this resort for simplicity and because it is close to nature in all meanings!

Tolle Bungalows auf einsamer kleiner Insel

Wir hatten wunderschöne Ferien auf Makunudoo Island. Die Insel ist klein und total naturbelassen. Man kann taeglich Haie sehen, Geckos, Voegel und ganz viele andere Tiere. Die Bungalows sind sehr sauber gehalten und die Outdoordusche ist wundervoll. Direkt vor dem Bungalow beginnt der schoene Sandstrand. Es ist wie im Maerchen. Das Fruehstueck ist in Ordnung, bietet nur wenig Auswahl, hingegen das Abendessen ist abwechslungsreich und lecker! Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und erfuellen jeden Wunsch. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefuehlt und wersen wieder kommen.

Very beautiful island without all the unnecessary things like swimming pool, flat screen TVs etc. It’s a real retreat from the stress of life. Great food. Rustic accommodation, understated elegance theme throughout, no plastic chairs in sight! You relax from the moment you arrive due to the chilled atmosphere the staff create. So much sea life sharks, turtles, eagle ray, sting ray etc. I will be back someday to lovely Makunudu.

We love Makunudu and have returned there 3 times for its peacefulness and tranquility. A beautifully simple quiet hotel island, with just beach rooms, a single restaurant and bar. Snorkelling a plenty, good dive centre, some other water sports, no gym or pool.

Eine ruhige, kleine Insel, wo man so richtig ausspannen kann. Wer gerne liest, schnorchelt, taucht und die Seele baumeln lässt, ist hier richtig. Auf Makunudu gibt's keine Animation, kein Morgenturnen, kein Pool und da die Anlage nur etwas über 30 Bungalows zählt, ist sie nie überlaufen. Die Zimmer verfügen über alles, was man benötigt, sind sehr sauber. Der Service ist hervorragend und äusserst aufmerksam und nie aufdringlich. Einzig die Preise für Getränke, sind zu hoch.

Es war einfach großartig, kleine feine Insel ohne viel Ablenkung. Nur wenige Einheiten und alles verteilt sich sehr gut, wer Privatsphäre sucht ist hier sicher richtig. Das Hausriff ist super und reich an unterschiedlichsten Tieren. Einfach ein Traum.

Nádherný malý ostrov - ideální pro klidnou, pohodovou dovolenou.Přesně to, co jsme hledali. Málo lidí, skvělé služby a úžasný personál - poděkování za péči o naše pohodlí všem - vedení hotelu, kuchařům, pozorným číšníkům, barmanům, pokojové službě a vašem ostatním... Děkujeme Ubytování v jednom ze 36 bungalovů nemělo chybu . Absolutní soukromí včetně "soukromé" pláže!! Určitě se chceme to tohoto "ráje" vrátit.

Wonderful island!

This is our second stay in this hotel and it was as wonderful as the first one! The island is just wonderful: what you imagine of Maldives island - beautiful nature, secluded bungalows with in front of each a private beach with sun-beds, wonderul beach and fabulous sea! When you're arriving you don't see the bungalows - they're hidden behind shrubs and palms! The whole island is so, so green and full of flowering plants that fill the air with their perfume! The food is really excellent! The chefs make many very tasty plates for you to choose from! Each meal is a very nice surprise! The staff that serves that meals is always smiling and quick! And the restaurant is beautiful too: you eat looking at the beach and the sea! Also a cooking class can be arrange and we loved it! The sand bar has a marvelous terrace from which you can watch nurse and black tip sharks and eagle rays swimming in the lagoon while sipping a drink! There's also a sunset bar on the top of the island and on a very wide beach, from which you can admire the sunset! There's also a new Spa where you can enjoy a massage! Unfortunately we didn't have luck with the weather, but that's not Makunudu's fault! We stay 3 weeks and the middle one was bad, with rain and clouds - but, hey, it's July, so we knew that it was a possibility! We really love this island and will be looking forward to returning there!

Ausgezeichnet! Die Insel kann man definitiv als Geheimtipp bezeichnen, von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise wurde uns unser Urlaub so angenehm und schön wie möglich gemacht! Das Personal auf der Insel ist unfassbar herzlich und nett und versucht einem jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Dudu, unser "Roomboy" zum Beispiel hat unser Bett beinahe jeden Tag unheimlich aufwändig mit Blumen verziert und immer perfekt saubergemacht - danke!! Auch das Management ist ständig vor Ort und erkundigt sich von selbst, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Das Essen ist hervorragend! Super ausgiebiges Frühstücksbuffet, ausgezeichnetes und liebevoll zubereitetes Abendessen!! Die Preise abseits der inkludierten Leistungen sind auch verträglich und lassen einen gerne am Abend einen Cocktail oder ein Bierchen in der traumhaften Bar trinken. Die Insel selber wird vom Personal sehr gut gepflegt und ist dementsprechend sehr sauber. Die Bungalows sind alle wirklich super gelegen, bieten einem absolute Ruhe und Privatsphäre und sind. Da es gerade einmal 36 Bungalows gibt verläuft sich alles sehr gut und man kann wirklich zu 100% entspannen. Das Meer ist ein absoluter Traum! Dies war mein 3. Maledivenaufenthalt und ich hab noch nie so viel Fische, Schildkröten, Mantas und, und, und gesehen!! Also unbedingt schnorcheln oder tauchen gehen!! Auch die Exkursionen die angeboten werde sind ein absolutes Muss!! In Summe können wir beide die Insel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen! Wir werden sicher wieder kommen!
