"Our room was very pleasant and comfortable. We were in the back building, so didn’t have a view of the ocean there. But we could drive out and across the street with the beautiful ocean from Anchorage and. We were there in December and when we came back at night the whole Resort was done with beautiful white lights. So beautiful to see. All of the staff was so kind and helpful and made you feel welcome.. They weren’t very hard to maintain the beauty of the resort and make the clients happy. I have always wanted to stay there and I finally did. it was not disappointed in anyway. I would love to go back in the summer with the ocean view, but not sure I could afford it. Love the resort and everything about it."

"Hotel Portsmouth is an awesome place to stay. It is very quaint with wonderful service. Not only was our room accommodation for the four of us very comfortable but the hotel also has many areas available to use, including a mini bar and pool table. "

"The room was lovely, clean, spacious, well lit with several windows and stocked with paper suplies. The matress was exceptionally comfortable. From the parking valet, to front dask staff to the breakfast staff were all friendly and helpful. The gift wrapping materials a nice touch "
